Our first DotNetNuke project
CRACKMASTERS has been in the wet basement services business for over a decade, and knows how to fix any wet basement problem that may effect a home. Their pricing is amongst the lowest in their industry and their wet basement services are top quality. Crackmasters needed a new strategy that would help them reach more people across the greater Toronto area looking for a quality solution for their wet basements. We were given a tour of the company by the owner of Crackmasters, and we knew this company had potential to dominate online due to their experience, equipment, know-how and man power. We were very impressed with how they do business as well as their philosophy of doing every job to their best abilities and not having any unsatisfied clients. Our proposal was a follows:
Vamp up the website
We did not like their old site as it looked outdated and cheap, with only a few pages and no valuable information for visitors except for their contact details. So we decided to revamp the site by adding a slider to the home page which provides visitors with the most important information that needs to be conveyed to the visitor, and we also added a dropdown menu to their services page which breaks down their core services so that it is easier for visitors to find the information they desire. The 3 major areas of service were: Basement crack repair, basement waterproofing and foundation repair. So we created a detailed page for each service area which helped add value to visitors as each of these pages provided the necessary details a potential visitor needed to read in order to know what is involved and it explained the difference between each of the 3 different problems people have when it comes to wet basements.
Spread the News about the new site
We noticed that not too many people were visiting the old Crackmasters website so our plan was to spread the news by writing about Crackmasters on various websites that were related to wet basements as well as other residential problems. By spreading the news we knew that more people in need of wet basement services would end up calling Crackmasters, and this is exactly what happened. Calls doubled within a few months and continue to rise steadily.
We know how important reviews are as we rely on them to make more educated decisions, so we knew that getting good reviews from exsisting customers would only help Crackmasters get more business. So we recommended to our client to call old customers and ask them to leave a review on Google, Yellowpages or on Homestars to help others understand what to expect from Crackmasters. The results were wonderful because Crackmasters only has happy customers.
