Pay Per Click (PPC) Example

Below you can see an example of how PPC advertising works on Google. When a person goes to Google.com and searches for the keyword “Website Design” the results below are displayed. The text ads in the red boxes are the Pay Per Click Advertisements. If the web searcher clicks on one of the text ads in the red boxes (which would take them to the advertisers website), the owner of the website would be charged a certain amount of money.

When people search on Google using one of your keywords, your ad may appear next to the search results. People can simply click your ad to make a purchase or learn more about your business. You pay only if people click your ads, and only the people that are interested in your products or services will click on your ad.
